স্নাতক ও মূলতঃ স্নাতকোত্তর বাংলার সিলেবাসকে ছুঁয়ে বিশিষ্ট অধ্যাপকদের সুচিন্তিত বক্তব্য নিয়ে রামমোহন কলেজের স্নাতকোত্তর বাংলা বিভাগ থেকে "প্রবাহ" নামাঙ্কিত একটি গবেষণাধর্মী গ্রন্থের প্রকাশ হলো। বিশিষ্ট লেখক ও গবেষক রামকুমার মুখোপাধ্যায়, অধ্যাপিকা ড. সুমিতা চক্রবর্তী, ড. ইন্দ্রাণী চক্রবর্তী, ডি.লিট, ড. দেবেশ কুমার আচার্য প্রমুখ ১৬ জন খ্যাতনামা গবেষক লেখকদের গবেষণার ফসল এই গ্রন্থে সম্বলিত হয়েছে। বইমেলা'২৪ এ আজ থেকেই অক্ষর প্রকাশনীর ৩০৩ নং নম্বর স্টল থেকে বইটি পাওয়া যাবে।

The Department of English, Rammohan College officially launched and released the first issue of its annual magazine, "Looking Glass" on 13.05.2022 on the occasion of the Students' Seminar, "Border and Beyond." The magazine features creative and critical writings, paintings, reviews, articles, photographs primarily contributed by the students as well as by the faculty of the Department.
With an intention to explore and nurture the hidden talent in the students, "Looking Glass" accommodates the students in its editorial board who, under the guidance of their teachers, learn different publication related activities, like typing, proof-reading, copy editing, formatting, designing and etc. This at once encourages the students to develop their creative and critical skill, on the other, it opens for them newer avenues in career opportunities like working in a publishing house, in press or finding placements in content writing, news paper, journalism and so on.
The first issue of the magazine, "Looking Glass" has earned a revenue of Rs. 2,500/- (approx.) through its sale among the students and teachers (each copy was sold in Rs. 100/-). This amount has been kept in the Departmental Fund with an intention to utilize it for the welfare of the students in particular as well as the growth and development of the Department in general.
